My mom was handpicked by God to be the mom that would give me what I needed to walk through this journey of life. God chooses our moms and only He knows what they will instill in our hearts and minds. 

​

The candle, Handpicked, is to honor my mom on what would be her 70th birthday. She loved everything about the fall; the chill in the air, the leaves changing colors, the season of apple picking and apple pie baking, and all of the wonderful scents that filled our homes. The scents of pumpkin, apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg drew our family into our kitchen and this time of celebration and harvest. My mom was in every sense our Home Sweet Home. There was no place we would rather be then surrounded by her love in our home.

The legacy and heritage she left our family was one of home and the importance of having a sanctuary. It is where family gathers, loves, mourns, celebrates, and grows.

My mom was handpicked for me and my sister and I am thankful for the One who chose her.
